RETRAC 610882 Heated Convex Aerodynamic Mirror Head

RETRAC aerodynamic mirrors are engineered to promote maximum efficiency and safety for heavy-duty trucks. They feature a sleek design to reduce wind resistance and minimize drag. They are also made with an original equipment style to provide a perfect replacement for an existing OEM west coast mirror, maintaining a professional look and offering a fast and easy installation. Aerodynamic mirrors securely mount onto the truck with a universal clamp system. This mirror fits any loop with a diameter of 3/4" to 1-1/4". It provides a clear view of the passing lane and blind spots, featuring 8" x 8-1/2" convex glass, and it is constructed with first-surface, electro-chrome glass to maximize safety by eliminating glare. The mirror head is built from durable ABS plastic with a bright chrome finish. This convex mirror is also equipped with a smart, self-regulating heater. The heating element is computer-printed and evenly distributes heat across the glass to defrost it in cold climates. The heating process is completely automated, requiring no switch or effort from the driver. It heats up and cools down based on ambient temperatures and only draws enough amperage to defrost the glass without overheating.
